About the Role
The Senior Manager of Business Planning and Strategy – Peru is responsible for supporting the execution of the business planning and performance management cycle for Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Capital Markets within Global Banking & Markets (GBM). This role ensures operational alignment, timely delivery of planning inputs, and performance insights for the Peruvian market. It collaborates with the regional Director and local business leaders to drive data-driven decisions and support capital allocation and revenue-share frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Support the development of annual and multi-year business plans for Peru, ensuring alignment with regional and global priorities.
- Coordinate local inputs and assumptions, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial forecasts.
- Contribute to capital allocation analysis and scenario modeling at the country level.
- Represent the Director of IB C&IB Business Planning and Strategy in strategic financial planning and performance discussions with IB Finance.
- Ensure alignment between corporate financial objectives, business models and strategic initiatives, acting as a key point of contact and integrator across planning cycles, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in business planning, performance management, or financial analysis roles.
- Experience working with capital allocation models, revenue share frameworks, and RWA/ROWA metrics.
- Solid understanding of the Bank's business lines and corporate functions, particularly within Investment Banking and Corporate Banking.
- Strong customer orientation with a track record of service excellence in financial services.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities and deadlines with agility.
- English and Spanish proficiency is a must.
- Experience working with support and control functions, and familiarity with head-office governance processes.
- Experience working within a regional matrix structure, coordinating with head office and local teams.
- Solid financial and accounting knowledge, including corporate finance, planning, and performance management.
