Job title: Senior Manager - Assurance

About the Role You will serve as the main point of contact from EY GDS for tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. The role focuses on managing engagements in the Asset Management sector, with emphasis on Hedge Funds and Private Equity, and involves coaching teams and growing the practice.

What You'll Do

• Manage and develop people: empower, monitor, coach, and motivate; conduct performance reviews; identify training needs; lead best-practice sharing within Asset Management teams.
• Manage business and clients: build and maintain relationships with key Asset Management contacts; support sector growth and quality initiatives; enhance connectivity between GDS and engagement teams; support communication; help develop annual growth, resource and activity plans; monitor KPIs and take action as needed.
• Manage quality of service delivery: identify sector-specific training needs; organize technical training; address service delivery issues when they occur; support exceptional service delivery programs and best-practice sharing.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA.
• Approximately 10+ years of Assurance experience with well-known CA firms; international experience (2+ years) is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards; Asset Management experience with Hedge Funds and Private Equity.
• Strong interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills; project management, leadership, coaching and supervisory abilities; strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; interest in business and commerciality; international experience.
