Job Description

The Analytics and Performance Excellence (APEX) team is an industry-recognized center of research excellence and strategic vision. We function as in-house strategic counsel — translating advanced analytics into business decisions and patient impact. We invest in diverse talent, cultivate new capabilities, and foster an inclusive culture where the best ideas win.

Role Summary

As Senior Manager within the Market Access & Patient Services Insights group, you will independently lead analytics and market research initiatives that shape U.S. Immunology brand strategy. You will identify payer opportunities, assess risk scenarios, and deliver actionable recommendations that advance patient access and provider reimbursement — with a particular emphasis on the medical benefit landscape, buy-and-bill dynamics, and ASP-driven pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Data Science

  • Lead advanced analytics across utilization management, medical policy, pricing, and competitive launch assessment.

  • Apply modeling, data science, and visualization tools to surface actionable business insights.

  • Develop contracting strategies grounded in quantitative analysis of specialty pharmacies, PBMs, GPOs, health plans, and medical benefit access dynamics.

  • Analyze reimbursement and access trends spanning buy-and-bill, ASP, site of care, and provider-administered therapies.

  • Mine healthcare and operational datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improved access and execution.

  • Market Research

  • Design and execute market research initiatives assessing payer dynamics, access barriers, and competitive positioning.

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into clear, strategy-ready insights.

  • Track competitive launches and evolving healthcare policy through rigorous research methodologies.

  • Inform medical benefit access, provider-administered therapy, and reimbursement strategy through targeted insights development.

  • Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

  • Present analytics and research findings to senior leadership; influence high-impact, cross-functional decisions.

  • Mentor junior team members in analytics and market research capabilities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with market access, field teams, analytics partners, and external stakeholders to convert insights into action.

  • Champion an innovative, high-performing, and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

  • Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Analytics, Health Economics, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare analytics, market access, or a closely related role.

  • Direct industry experience across payer, manufacturer, consulting, or vendor environments supporting pharma/healthcare clients.

  • Proficiency in one or more analytic tools (SQL, Python, R, Dataiku, or equivalent) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).

  • Proven ability to independently lead projects and deliver strategic insights in fast-paced, cross-functional settings.

  • Superior communication skills — able to distill complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.

  • Working knowledge of medical benefit access, reimbursement dynamics, and provider-administered therapy models.

  • Preferred

  • Advanced degree (Master's, MBA, MPH, or equivalent).

  • In-depth U.S. market access experience: value/contracting strategy, reimbursement policy analytics, or access barrier assessment.

  • Hands-on experience with syndicated pharma data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health, DRG, MMIT).

  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, or predictive analytics methodologies.

  • Exposure to infusion provider operations, onboarding processes, or related operational data is a welcome plus.

  • Additional Information

  • Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law.

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.
