Requirements for Appointment:
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience three of which should have been in the grade of Librarian I or comparable position;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Studies or Information Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Been Registered by the relevant professional body; and
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
