For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Bachelor Degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution;

Certificate in teaching methodology course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;

Been registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council (KMPDC);

Valid practicing license; and

Proficiency in computer applications.
