Job title: Senior Lawyer (Dispute Resolution & Tax)
We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with deep expertise in dispute resolution and tax to handle litigation, arbitration and advisory matters, represent clients before regulators and courts, and mentor junior lawyers.
Responsibilities
- Handle dispute resolution matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and dispute matters.
- Represent the firm/organization in court and before regulatory bodies.
- Draft and review legal opinions, pleadings, contracts, and tax-related documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, including FIRS, courts, and tribunals, on behalf of clients.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers/associates.
- Stay current on changes in Nigerian tax law, CAMA, and relevant case law.
Requirements
- LL.B and B.L, called to the Nigerian Bar.
