Senior Juju Software Engineer (Go) role focused on building and maintaining high-quality software for Canonical's Juju platform. This home-based role in the EMEA region contributes to open source software and cloud deployment tooling that powers Ubuntu-based solutions. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable, reliable software for customers across enterprise and technology markets.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, test, and maintain Go components for Juju.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud deployment tooling and open source software.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
- Participate in software design and architecture discussions and contribute to the open source community.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Go and distributed systems.
- Experience with Juju, cloud platforms, or DevOps tooling.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment within the EMEA region.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu and open source contributions is a plus.
