Senior Jewelry Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Senior Jewelry Designer with a strong background in established, branded jewelry or fashion businesses. The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated design aesthetic, a deep understanding of the high-end market, and the ability to translate emerging trends into a distinctive design vision that aligns with the brand's identity and customer.
This role requires a creative leader who can set the direction for jewelry collections, anticipate market trends, and transform inspiration into commercially successful, brand-right products.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate a clear creative vision for seasonal jewelry collections and new product initiatives.
- Research and analyze trends across the high-end jewelry and luxury fashion markets, identifying emerging styles, materials, silhouettes, colors, and design directions.
- Interpret high-market trends and translate them into original, commercially relevant designs that reflect the brand's unique DNA and target customer.
- Lead the creative development of jewelry collections from initial concept and mood boards through design execution and final product approval.
- Develop seasonal trend presentations, inspiration boards, color stories, and design direction presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with merchandising, product development, marketing, and executive leadership to align creative vision with business objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitors, luxury brands, consumer behavior, and evolving market preferences.
- Mentor and guide design team members, providing creative direction and maintaining consistency across collections.
- Balance innovation and trend awareness with brand heritage, commercial viability, and customer appeal.
Qualifications

Significant experience in jewelry design, preferably with an established or recognized branded jewelry, luxury, or fashion company.

Demonstrated ability to create and articulate a compelling design vision.

Strong knowledge of high-market jewelry and luxury fashion trends, with the ability to interpret them for a specific brand and customer.

A strong portfolio showcasing trend research, conceptual development, seasonal collections, and brand-focused design execution.

Proven ability to connect creative direction with commercial objectives and market opportunities.

Excellent presentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience leading creative projects and guiding other designers is highly desirable.
