Senior Java Developer

Project description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications within the leasing, financial services, or banking sector. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and JSF/JoinFaces (mandatory), complemented by solid experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud, DevOps practices, PowerShell scripting, and AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot. The candidate should be highly self-driven, capable of working independently, collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and experienced in delivering scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions in an agile environment.

• Backend Development: Java 21+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data JPA), RESTful API design and development, Hibernate / JPA, Maven and/or Gradle, Microservices architecture, Unit and Integration Testing (JUnit, Mockito)

• Frontend Development: JSF (Jakarta Faces)

• Mandatory

• PrimeFaces / JoinFaces / OmniFaces, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive UI development

• Database Technologies: IBM-i DB2 Database, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, SQL optimization and performance tuning, database design and data modeling

• Microsoft Azure: Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Services, Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure Monitor / Application Insights, Cloud-native development and deployment

• DevOps & Automation: Git / GitHub / GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring and Logging, Release and Deployment Management, DevOps best practices

• Scripting: PowerShell (Mandatory), Bash scripting, Automation of operational and deployment processes

• AI & Modern Engineering: GitHub Copilot: AI-assisted software development, Prompt engineering for developers, AI-supported code reviews, Application modernization using AI tools

• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications

• Azure Certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-900)

• Experience in banking, leasing, or financial services environments
