About the Role Join Wipro as a Senior Java Backend Developer to design and build robust, scalable backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot. You will architect microservices, ensure performance and reliability, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement microservices with focus on performance, reliability, maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor developers on best practices, code quality, and problem-solving.
• Integrate and manage messaging with Apache Kafka.
• Optimize PL/SQL development to ensure database performance and integrity.
• Implement and maintain BDD test frameworks using Cucumber.
• Drive CI/CD automation and DevOps adoption.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Java 8+ and OO programming principles.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem components.
• Hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven and messaging-based systems.
• Familiarity with BDD testing frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Optional: exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.

Nice to Have

• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: USD 60,000 - 135,000 per year.
