About the Role

Optime-Tech LLC is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in a remote US-based position. This role is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable applications and working with modern Java technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested production-quality code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and other technical teams.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Follow established software development and Agile practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong professional experience developing backend applications with Java.
Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot and backend application development.
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
Experience with microservices and distributed application architectures.
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with software development best practices, debugging, testing, and version control.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
