The Role and Team
As a Senior IT Systems Engineer at Medallia, you will focus on managing and optimizing collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Slack. You will enhance the employee experience through secure, seamless integrations and automation across these platforms, while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure consistent performance and security. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite in our Buenos Aires office in the Palermo barrio. While the primary focus of the role is Collaboration Services engineering and administration, the position will also provide secondary onsite IT support as needed, including hands-on end-user, conference room, and workplace technology support.
Responsibilities
- Architect and manage collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Slack. Automate workflows and optimize tool integration across SaaS platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT goals with business needs. Troubleshoot complex systems and ensure a secure, high-performing environment. Maintain a regular onsite presence at least three days per week and serve as a secondary escalation/support resource for onsite IT needs, including end-user technology, conference rooms, collaboration systems, and other workplace technology issues as required.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Five or more years of experience managing collaboration tools in enterprise environments including experience with Slack and Google Meets management, and automation and integrations. At least one year of experience with Google Workspace administration and security including Google Apps Manager. Demonstrated knowledge of identity management and SSO solutions and security best practices for collaboration tools. Demonstrated experience in scripting for automation (for example Google Apps Script, Python, PowerShell). Ability to work onsite a minimum of three days per week and travel to global offices for projects as needed.

Preferred qualifications: Google Workspace Administrator certification. Experience with Slack Enterprise features and Google Meets Room management. Knowledge of VoIP systems. Experience with API-based integrations and automation tools. Project management experience related to rolling out collaboration tools.
