Job title: Senior IT Security Engineer
About the Role The Senior IT Security Engineer will help design, implement, and maintain ULINE's IT security controls to protect systems and data across the organization. This role is based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and focuses on strengthening enterprise security posture.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and manage security controls and architectures across on-premises and cloud environments
- Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation with IT teams
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security testing
- Collaborate with business units to translate security requirements into practical controls
- Maintain security documentation, standards, and governance artifacts
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; equivalent work experience considered
- 5+ years of experience in IT security engineering or related roles
- Strong knowledge of security practices, threat modeling, incident response, and risk management
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners) and cloud security concepts
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar
- Experience with AWS/Azure and cloud security architecture
- Scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
