About the Role Uline is seeking a Senior IT Purchasing Specialist to lead IT-related procurement efforts, collaborate with IT teams, and optimize costs while ensuring policy compliance and vendor management. This role focuses on procuring IT hardware, software, and services to support the organization's technology needs.
What You'll Do
- Manage IT hardware and software procurement, licensing, and vendor relationships to meet business requirements.
- Solicit bids, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts and pricing, and drive cost savings.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to forecast demand, build budgets, and track purchasing against plan.
- Manage purchase orders and procurement records in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement vendor governance.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, security standards, and license management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or IT.
- 3+ years of IT purchasing or procurement experience.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and end-to-end procurement processes.
- Knowledge of IT hardware/software licensing, renewals, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
