Role Overview

The Senior IT Business Systems Analyst supports critical cybersecurity strategic initiatives by partnering with business and technology stakeholders to analyze business needs, define requirements, and enable the successful delivery of technology solutions. This role serves as a key liaison between business and technical teams, translating business objectives into actionable requirements. The selected professional will identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, systems, and operational effectiveness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into clear, actionable functional and technical requirements.

• Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, standardization, and increased operational efficiency.

• Develop and maintain business and functional requirements, process flows, procedures, use cases, and other supporting documentation.

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and project activities, including tracking priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.

• Support the design, implementation, enhancement, and adoption of technology and security solutions.

• Develop test scenarios and perform integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to validate requirements and support successful solution delivery.

• Provide operational support by investigating system and process issues, coordinating resolution, and identifying opportunities to prevent recurring problems.

• Develop and deliver presentations, demonstrations, training materials, job aids, and other resources to support stakeholder communication and user adoption.

• Support Agile delivery activities, including requirements refinement, backlog management, sprint planning, solution reviews, and implementation readiness.

• Identify and recommend improvements to processes, controls, and technologies based on business needs, operational metrics, risk considerations, and lessons learned.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

• Experience: Eleven to fifteen years of experience in business process optimization, data governance, financial modeling, and systems analysis within an enterprise environment.

• Technical

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint and Visio, alongside familiarity with work management platforms such as ServiceNow and ChangeGear. Advanced analytical capabilities utilizing Power BI, Python, SQL, SOQL, Jira, and Excel are required.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.

• Strong experience working within Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional teams.
