About the Role The Senior IT Analyst is a multi-incumbent position acting as a team leader within the Client Support team. This role determines desktop hardware specifications and participates in software review and selection to meet City department needs, while implementing changes to keep the desktop environment reliable and aligned with business objectives. What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain software and system updates across the environment using SCCM, Intune, and PatchMyPC to automate and track deployments.
  • Oversee imaging management and troubleshooting within Intune and SCCM to ensure consistent and reliable workstation deployments.
  • Manage desktop client management tools including Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Entra, and Azure to support imaging, device provisioning, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage computer policies through Intune and Group Policy Object (GPO) administration, including configuration and maintenance of Autopilot enrollment profiles and related policies.
  • Develop and execute scripts to automate administrative tasks, improve system configurations, and support desktop management operations.
  • Assist in defining system scope and objectives, analyze business and user requirements for complex projects, and manage requirements throughout each project.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors and keep open lines of communication with management and operations throughout work. What We're Looking For
  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience; OR Associate's degree with 6 years; OR High school diploma/GED with 7 years. Degree must be from an accredited institution as defined by the U.S. Department of Education/HLC or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment and maintain thereafter.
  • Must possess at least one of the certifications listed (Microsoft 365 Certified; Microsoft Technology Associate Modern Desktop Administrator Associate; Endpoint Administrator Associate; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+; HDI Desktop Advance Support Technician; ITIL Foundations) or closely related/comparable certification. Other relevant certifications will be considered if demonstrating equivalent knowledge and experience. Applicants with these certifications are preferred as they directly align with technical requirements.
