Job Description

The Senior Investment Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Juvo Ventures to achieve its strategic objectives by supporting the Senior Investment Team analysis of future investment areas and companies that provide the greatest opportunity and strategic fit within the early-stage technology-enabled ecosystem.

This person will work closely with the Managing Partners in order to source, analyze, and execute investments. The Investment Analyst is a team player, collaborates and works alongside others to achieve the broader company goals and objectives.

This position will work onsite at our corporate office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Partner with Managing Partners to support investment, operational, and growth initiatives.
• Compile, analyze, and synthesize financial and business data into clear, actionable business cases and executive presentations.
• Evaluate financial and operating performance, market positioning, and growth opportunities through detailed research and analysis.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective investment targets and develop financial models to assess expected returns and investment viability.
• Research industries and market niches to identify growth rates, market size, emerging trends, and best practices.
• Develop investor- and market-facing materials, including private placement memoranda, term sheets, and investor presentations.
• Maintain and track investor feedback, commentary, and interest in prospective opportunities while monitoring market activity to support communications with fund managers and limited partners.
• Support the development of scalable processes and operational structures to help grow Juvo from a startup organization into a franchise operation.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated interest in venture capital, private equity, startups, or technology-enabled education.
• Experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or a related investment-focused environment.
• Experience operating within a fast-growing, high-growth, or digital-first organization.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting investment sourcing, diligence, transaction execution, or portfolio operations.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation experience.
• Exposure to the education technology, SaaS, or technology startup ecosystem.
• Experience helping scale operational processes within early-stage or growth-stage companies.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed. Additional travel may be assigned as needed to support business requirements.

Position and Application Details
