Job title: Senior Internal Auditor (Manila)

About the Role Based in our Manila, Philippines location, Copeland seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to lead end-to-end audit projects across our global portfolio of business units, focusing on financial, operational, and compliance risks and controls including SOX. You will serve as a trusted advisor to management, strengthen internal controls, and support growth by identifying value-creating opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on internal control matters, risk mitigation strategies, and process improvements.
  • Lead and deliver independent, end-to-end audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas, establishing and timely delivering audit programs, documentation, findings, recommendations, and audit reports.
  • Assist in delivering the Copeland SOX Program in preparation for SOX compliance.
  • Educate and advise management and process owners on accounting, financial, and internal control risks, requirements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of potential risk and action plans.
  • Help define departmental methodologies and deliverables in accordance with professional standards.
  • Lead and coach the Internal Audit team, including any co-sourced service providers, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, continuous improvement, and engagement.
  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement, support the annual risk assessment process, and contribute to the determination of the annual audit plan.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in internal audit across financial, operational, and compliance areas, including SOX.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen; exemplary attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct and manage multiple audit projects in parallel and deliver comprehensive audit programs.
  • Capacity to mentor and coach team members and work with co-sourced providers.
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule and align with US Central Time (core hours 8am-Noon CT).
