Senior Instructional Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop engaging, interactive, and pedagogically sound digital learning modules and courses for K-12 / Higher Ed learners.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), product managers, and multimedia designers to turn complex concepts into intuitive e-learning experiences.
- Utilize data and user feedback from platform analytics to continuously audit, iterate, and improve existing course materials and learning outcomes.
- Establish instructional design standards, frameworks, and rubrics across the content development team.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational technology.
- Demonstrated proficiency with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Backward Design) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Figma, etc.).
- Proven track record of designing scalable online courses or learning management system (LMS) content.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple course development streams simultaneously.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities.

Software Engineer (Backend)

ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, architect, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services and APIs for our core educational platform.
- Write high-quality, testable, and efficient code that powers the user experience for students and educators.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and designers to conceptualize, build, and deploy new user-facing features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
- Participate in and lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in building robust backend services using Python and Django.
- Proven experience with infrastructure orchestration and cloud platforms (especially AWS, Terraform, and Docker/Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of software testing practices (TDD/BDD) and CI/CD pipelines.
