Senior Injection Molding Process Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Injection Molding Process Engineer to lead process optimization for high-volume molding, drive quality improvement, and support new product ramp-ups at Koch IP Holdings. The role focuses on ensuring robust processes, effective quality management, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve production targets. What You'll Do

• Drive ongoing process optimization for high-volume molding, set annual quality targets and action plans, and monitor progress.
• Responsible for disposition of non-conforming parts, analyze root causes, propose optimization and improvement plans, and follow through on results.
• Partner with ME team to ensure smooth scale-up of new products for production, meeting mass-production requirements.
• Participate in new product mold design reviews; manage injection mold debugging, tooling/fixture acceptance, maintenance planning, and related process documentation.
• Promote cross-functional and cross-company technical exchange and knowledge sharing; participate in process innovation.
• Lead preparation and execution of process audits with customers and internal sites, ensuring processes meet quality system requirements. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 5+ years of injection molding process experience; familiar with engineering plastics properties; extensive mold trial and acceptance experience.
• Solid foundation in injection molding tooling, processes, and related aspects.
• Familiar with PFMEA, process parameters, checklists, and Control Plan.
• Understand COPQ; able to collaborate with production, mold shop and maintenance to improve performance.
• Strong cross-functional communication, high sense of responsibility, able to adapt to project milestones and pace.
• Good presentation and reporting skills.
• Familiar with electronic workflows; strong quality mindset.
• Rich experience in injection molding process management; experience in precision connector industry is a plus.
• Willing to adapt to a contribution-oriented culture; strong responsibility and drive. Nice to Have
• Mechanical / mold-related major; NX or Moldflow software capability preferred. Compensation & Benefits
