Senior Infrastructure Investment Analyst
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Units and corporate functions in the preparation and assessment of Requests for Approval (RfAs), investment proposals, divestments, financings, commitments, guarantees, and other capital allocation initiatives.
- Assess business plans, valuations, investment theses, value creation opportunities, and key risks across prospective and existing investments, including monitoring portfolio performance against approved business plans.
- Develop recommendations through strategic, operational, contractual, commercial, financial, and market analysis to support capital allocation decisions.
- Facilitate informed decision-making by Ferrovial's Investment Committee and the ultimate approval authorities through clear, rigorous, and balanced investment assessments.
- Monitor infra sector trends, competitive dynamics, and the investment strategies of leading infra players, investors, and funds.
- Leverage data analytics and Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance analyses, support market research, and improve the efficiency and quality of recurring deliverables.
- Contribute to selected accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance-related processes as required.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

MBA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

5+ years of experience in the infrastructure sector.

Strong understanding of infrastructure contractual frameworks, business models, operational value drivers, and market dynamics across infrastructure sectors.

Experience evaluating investments, financings, commitments, and guarantees from strategic, commercial, operational, risk, and value creation perspectives.

Knowledge of Ferrovial's portfolio, businesses, operating model, investment approach, and value creation strategies will be highly valued.

Experience with financial modelling, valuation, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and benchmarking.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
