About this role

About the Role Senior Incident Response Engineer will serve as the senior technical member of the global incident response team within our information security organization. You will provide key insight into new threats, exploits, and mitigation techniques, and help advance threat detection capabilities. What You'll Do

  • Help improve resilience and readiness of security protection and mitigation technologies and processes to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assets and IT services.
  • Develop and execute security incident response plans; conduct cyber forensic investigations on endpoints and cloud platforms; independently lead full lifecycle of incident response investigations.
  • Develop comprehensive incident reports and investigation summaries; develop and collect intelligence to proactively detect high-confidence threats.
  • Analyze/validate security control requirements; tune controls; define mitigation rules; scripting and changes; assist with troubleshooting of security detection/protection technologies.
  • Review existing tools, applications, and processes to strengthen current security capabilities and identify gaps.
  • Lead analysis and review of security events for anomalous activity; collaborate with peer groups to safeguard assets. What We're Looking For
  • Advanced knowledge of security for cloud-agnostic infrastructure.
  • Ability to conduct forensic and incident response investigations.
  • Understanding of incident response and risk mitigation workflow and planning.
  • Ability to analyze security events for anomalous activity and identify emerging threats.
  • Ability to develop and implement security improvement and remediation programs.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment, exploitation techniques, malware reverse engineering, threat analysis, and security threat/incident reporting.
  • Ability to navigate Cloud and Web-based environments.
  • Certifications: CCFE, GCFE, CISSP, CISM, SANS, GIAC, ISACA, CSRIC (or related), ethical hacking/penetration tester certifications, and/or security risk assessment certification. Nice to Have
  • Additional industry certifications or security-related training. Compensation & Benefits
  • Base pay range: Home based-New Jersey $89,012 - $142,188; U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to reflect local market rates.
  • This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
