About the Role The Senior IBM BPM/BAW Technical Lead will manage technology delivery in complex BPM projects, provide technical guidance to development teams, and ensure successful delivery of scalable solutions. This role involves hands-on design and review, mentoring teammates and guiding architectural decisions.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, optimize performance, and implement coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
- Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and prepare status reports to minimize exposure & closure of escalations.
What We're Looking For
- 4-8 years’ experience in BPM development.
- Tertiary qualification in IT.
- Experience with IBM BPM / BAW, JSON, XML and JavaScript.
- Fundamental understanding of best practices and anti-patterns.
- Good understanding of data structures, application systems and exception handling.
- Ability to deliver independently with minimal knowledge transfer.
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) methodology and modelling.
