Job title: Senior Human Resources Consultant
About the Role The Senior HR Consultant partners with Bangalore site leadership to provide consultative HR solutions, collaborating with COEs and HR Business Partners to influence and execute HR processes and initiatives in support of organizational performance. This role serves on the HR Field Team and reports to the Regional HR Leader, working to enhance the employee and manager experience across the site.
What You'll Do
- Function as a highly experienced HR generalist across consulting with managers, HR program rollout and support, training and development, recruitment, immigration, employee engagement and retention, employee relations/investigations, orientation, exit interviews, policy maintenance, audit support, and related activities.
- Lead implementation/rollout and consultative management support for annual HR programs (performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys, training, etc.).
- Provide consultative support to managers (performance coaching, career coaching, handling personal matters at work).
- Ensure headcount aligns with AOP workforce plans.
- Provide talent acquisition support with offer analyses, candidate selection processes for key roles, and coaching for future workforce needs.
- Resolve employee issues; lead employee relations initiatives; support grievances/disciplinary actions and investigations to maintain a positive and fair work environment.
- Support change management related to organizational effectiveness solutions and HR transformation, including transitioning employees to HR services via systems.
- Facilitate and deliver training to leaders on Skyworks’ philosophies, expectations, and tools to manage performance and L&D (Performance Management and Talent Management tools such as Learning Hub and One Connect).
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and local government reporting and requirements.
- Create and maintain filing systems (physical and electronic) and safeguard confidential employee information.
- Coordinate local events with business teams.
- May support integration activities for newly acquired businesses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; PHRi/SPHRi or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience (preferably in HR Generalist role).
- Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations; HR processes and systems (SuccessFactors Employee Central preferred).
- Strong consultative coaching skills; ability to independently exercise judgment in complex situations; ability to negotiate and influence up to executive level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, HR teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across regions.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze data and draw independent conclusions.
- Immigration knowledge preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation; excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information; multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Some travel may be required.
Nice to Have
- PHRi/SPHRi or equivalent certification preferred.
- Employment-based immigration knowledge preferred.
- Prior experience with HR programs and global HR transformations.
