Role overview

Senior HRM Specialist oversees the end-to-end offboarding process for employees, ensuring operations align with laws and internal policies. This role manages offboarding processes, exit interviews, Workday system administration, data analysis and reporting related to separation, and collaboration with stakeholders to provide a smooth offboarding experience and support organizational decision-making.

Responsibilities

    1. Offboarding process operations
  • Manage and oversee employee departures and offboarding processes

  • Handle voluntary resignations, contract terminations, and other termination procedures

  • Schedule and administer offboarding activities

  • Prepare and issue resignation notices, certificate of service, and related HR documents

  • Respond to offboarding inquiries and resolve issues

    1. Exit interviews and Employee Relations support
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze departing employee feedback

  • Guide and assist exiting employees through the offboarding process

  • Resolve complex offboarding issues and provide a smooth exit experience

  • Derive reasons for departure and insights for organizational improvement

    1. Workday operations and system management
  • Process and manage offboarding transactions in Workday

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity

  • Monitor data errors and process risks

  • Collaborate with the Workday operations team and related departments to drive system improvements

    1. Offboarding monitoring and compliance management
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and audit standards

  • Manage retroactive departures and exception cases

  • Collaborate with Payroll, Legal, Compliance, ER, HRBP, and operations to resolve issues

  • Conduct risk assessments and improvement activities related to offboarding

  • Provide data and reports for internal and external audits

    1. Data analysis and reporting
  • Analyze turnover, attrition, and offboarding metrics

  • Monitor offboarding KPIs and drive operational improvements

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semiannual management reports

  • Analyze organizational workforce trends and key issues

  • Create dashboards and executive briefing materials

    1. Stakeholder collaboration and process improvement
  • Collaborate with HRBP, Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and business leaders

  • Lead offboarding and offboarding efficiency improvement projects

  • Develop and administer SOPs, guidelines, and policies

  • Establish standard processes and enhance governance

  • Implement continuous operational improvements and enhance employee experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)

  • 5+ years of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and offboarding experience

  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and understanding of HR compliance and offboarding processes

  • Experience in HR data analysis and executive reporting

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Problem-solving ability and high work drive

  • Ability to handle sensitive personnel information with discretion

  • Preferred

  • Experience in global companies or HR Shared Services environments

  • Payroll operations and employee data management experience

  • Experience handling complex Employee Relations cases

  • Leadership of offboarding or HR-related projects

  • Strong Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills

  • Process improvement and operational optimization project experience

  • Selection process and notes
