For appointment to the grade, an officer must have:
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience three (3) years of which should have been in Housekeeper I or in a comparable and equivalent position;
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Hotel and Hospitality Management; Event Management, Catering/Accommodation Management, Institutional Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Food and Beverage Production/Management and Service; Food and Beverage Management; or a related qualification from a recognised institution;
- Membership to a relevant professional body;
- Proficiency in Computer application; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
