Senior Hardware Asset Management Analyst

About the Role Senior Hardware Asset Management Analyst will join Scotiabank's Global Technology Services (GTS) Service Assets & Configuration Management to manage the Bank's hardware IT assets throughout their lifecycle from acquisition to retirement. The role focuses on hardware currency, maintenance of the hardware model database, ensuring records are complete, accurate and normalized, and coordinating refresh activities with stakeholders. What You'll Do

• Manage the Bank's hardware IT assets lifecycle from acquisition to retirement as part of Global Technology Services (GTS).
• Maintain and normalize the hardware model database; ensure models records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Track and report on assets with aged or end-of-life models; liaise with stakeholders to initiate refresh activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve ITAM model management processes and workflows.
• Create reports, dashboards and metrics to provide stakeholders with actionable insights on hardware currency status and compliance.
• Perform detailed analysis of model records to identify duplicates, missing information, and data inconsistencies. What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of hands-on working experience in an IT Asset Management role.
• 2+ years of hands-on working experience with the Asset and Reporting modules within ServiceNow.
• 2+ years of working experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
• 2+ years of hands-on working experience with using Power BI.
• Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.
• Interest in ITAM processes and ability to identify opportunities to automate and improve model management processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of various hardware models and ability to ensure models are fully normalized with accurate end-of-life information.
• Ability to create reports, dashboards and metrics to provide stakeholders with actionable insights on hardware currency status and compliance.
• Ability to analyze model records to identify and resolve duplicates, missing information, and other data inconsistencies.
