Senior Go Engineer

About the Role Senior Go engineer with architectural experience to help build the dashboards systems powering adtech for 770 million annual users. You’ll work on production Go backends, real-time data pipelines, and partner-facing APIs across two engineering challenges: analytics and tool orchestration.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain external APIs used by advertising partners for reporting and campaign configuration.
• Build and operate real-time data pipelines using Go, Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis.
• Develop analytics engines with Druid/ClickHouse and deliver fast, visual dashboards via a TypeScript React frontend.
• Manage and optimize 100+ downstream microservices tied to partner configurations, billing, promotions, and settings.
• Translate business and product requirements into technical decisions and mentor engineers to ensure reliability and developer experience.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in software engineering with several years in lead roles (Tech Lead, Software Architect, etc.).
• Outstanding Go experience in production backend environments handling billions of daily API events.
• Experience designing and operating microservice architectures using Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis.
• Ability to ingest, aggregate, and query massive event streams and deliver sub-millisecond API responses with DynamoDB.
• Extensive experience with columnar databases (Druid or ClickHouse) and fast dashboards.
• Ownership of partner-facing APIs for reporting and configuration; strong focus on transparency, reliability, and DX.
• Technical leadership skills, capable of aligning cross-functional teams with business needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DynamoDB-driven, low-latency services and data lakes.
• Prior work in adtech-scale systems.
