Job title: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help own and evolve the Formlabs Dashboard and its backend infrastructure. You’ll design, build, and scale reliable, high-performance web applications using Python and Django, develop user-facing frontend features with React, and own projects end-to-end—from design to rollout and iteration.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and scale web applications using Python/Django as the core backend
- Develop frontend features with React and collaborate with Marketing and Design
- Own projects end-to-end, from technical design to rollout and iteration
- Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards, and best practices
- Balance speed with maintainability and work across Dashboard backend and related infrastructure
- Collaborate across Design, Marketing, and Engineering teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong track record building, shipping, and maintaining production web applications
- Deep experience with Python/Django and modern frontend frameworks such as React
- Familiarity with Node.js, Go, Ruby, or other server-side languages
- Primary-owner mentality; pride in your systems and follow-through
- High bar for code quality: clean, documented, testable, readable
- Comfortable collaborating across disciplines (Design, Marketing, Engineering)
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with infrastructure and orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, GCP, AWS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment
