About this role

Job title: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Cloud Accelerator Team

About the Role Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Cloud Accelerator team. You’ll help accelerate strategic cloud initiatives at SimCorp, starting with Reconciliation Management, and collaborate across product, UX, and architecture in an agile, DevOps environment using Azure, .NET, TypeScript, and Angular.

We actively explore modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development workflows, including Claude Code, to support experimentation, learning, and developer productivity.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain modern cloud-based applications across the full stack.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, UX designers, and architects to shape solutions that solve real user problems.
  • Contribute to frontend and backend development using technologies such as .NET, TypeScript, and Angular.
  • Help define and evolve technical architecture, engineering practices, and development workflows.
  • Participate in discovery, experimentation, and iterative product development.
  • Build scalable and maintainable solutions with a strong focus on quality, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Take part in improving CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to improve how we work, what we build, and the value we create for our clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience as a software engineer working across both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience with modern frontend architecture and development using frameworks such as Angular and TypeScript; React or similar frontend frameworks is also valuable.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, and cloud-based development.
  • Familiar with Azure cloud services and modern DevOps practices.
  • Care about building high-quality, maintainable software and have experience with automated testing.
  • Curious about users, workflows, and business problems — not just technical implementation.
  • Enjoy collaborating with others, sharing ideas, and helping shape both solutions and ways of working.
  • Thrive in environments where we learn and iterate as we go, and where creativity and initiative are valued.
  • You have experience working in agile product development teams.
  • Experience with micro frontends, distributed systems, or investment management workflows is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with micro frontends, distributed systems, or investment management workflows is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Attractive salary, bonus scheme, and pension. Flexible working hours with a hybrid model (office two days per week and remote on other days).
  • Opportunities for professional development and an individual development approach to support your career goals.
