About the Role Senior Full Stack Engineer to help decompose Calendly's monolith into services and scale the platform, delivering features for enterprise customers and shaping architecture and engineering practices. You will report to an Engineering Manager and contribute to features and architecture that maintain user confidence in Calendly. What You'll Do
- Collaborate within your team to build new features targeted at high-impact enterprise customers.
- Contribute to platform scaling initiatives and review implementation plans and pull requests.
- Attend agile ceremonies, collaborate with Product and Design to refine requirements, and mentor other team members; work across squads to improve engineering practices. What We're Looking For
- 7-10 years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment; strong, hands-on full-stack skills across frontend and backend; ability to independently design, build, and ship production changes.
- Experience building Node.js services interfacing with distributed APIs, LLMs, or similar mixed-stack environments; familiarity with SOA, microservices, and monolith-to-services modernization.
- Ability to own features end-to-end (discovery, design, implementation, testing, release, maintenance); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; commitment to clean, maintainable code.
- Availability for on-call rotation; authorized to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship).
- Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools. Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Go, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Rails; cross-stack experience and mentoring. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges: Tier 1 USD 224,400 - 271,920; Tier 2 USD 205,700 - 249,260; Tier 3 USD 187,000 - 226,600; base salary plus Top Performer Bonus, equity awards, and competitive benefits. Location-based pay zones are used to determine ranges.
