Senior Full-Stack Developer

Role overview Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who is interested in Generative AI for a full-time hybrid position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our Client, a European bank, is building a dedicated Generative AI team focused on developing and maintaining AI-powered solutions that improve internal operations, customer experience, and developer productivity. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in Python, React/TypeScript, and Java/Spring Boot who is interested in Generative AI and willing to develop their skills in this area. Previous hands-on experience with Generative AI is not mandatory. The key requirement is strong software development experience and an interest in learning and applying GenAI technologies in real-world banking use cases.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Python.

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Solid experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications and backend services.

• Experience working with the Azure ecosystem.

• Understanding of or interest in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered applications.

• Willingness and ability to learn new GenAI technologies and tools.

• Experience working in large corporate or restricted IT environments, with an understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy requirements.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to travel for business trips 2 - 3 times per year.

• Nice to Have

• Previous hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.

• Experience with agentic development and AI agent tools.

• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Haystack.

• Experience building or integrating RAG pipelines.

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), including MCP servers and clients.

• Experience with Azure OpenAI or other cloud-based LLM solutions.

• Experience with LLM evaluation, fine-tuning, or prompt engineering.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or GitHub Copilot.

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python, React/TypeScript, and Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop modern frontend applications and reliable backend services.
• Integrate new functionality into existing enterprise and banking applications.
• Work closely with developers, architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

Generative AI & Agentic Development:

• Contribute to the development of AI-powered applications, agents, and copilots.
• Learn and apply Generative AI, LLM, and agentic development technologies.
• Work with different AI and agentic tools to develop practical business solutions.
• Integrate LLM capabilities and AI agents into existing applications and workflows.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and identify opportunities to use them effectively.

Azure & Cloud:

• Develop and deploy solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

• Work with technologies such as Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, scalability, and reliability.

• Follow enterprise standards for secure cloud development and deployment.
