Job title: Senior- FTS&V (Process/TOM)
About the Role Senior- FTS&V (Process/TOM) within EY – GDS – Consulting – Finance. As part of EY's Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop Performance Improvement initiatives, conduct techno-functional finance process assessments, deep-dive into pain areas and design future state solutions.
What You'll Do
- Experience with finance functions – Record to report, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes including reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting.
- Conduct workshops to perform current state As-Is process assessments and design & optimize future state processes per leading practices and industry benchmarks.
- Identify process improvement opportunities using automation, technology upgradation and process standardization, Finance Transformation and operating model design and assessments.
- Create L1-L5 As-Is and To-Be process mappings using Planview, Nimbus, ARIS, IBM Blueworks and Visio; experience in implementation and development of process mapping tools.
- Design KPIs and control frameworks for O2C, P2P and R2R processes.
- Strong accounting skills; knowledge of Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning and Budgeting.
- Knowledge of month/quarter/year-end close activities; ledger and sub-ledger systems; SAP ERP/HANA and Oracle GL; Chart of Accounts design.
- Translate business requirements to technical language and model; project management and team leadership; capable of supervising teams and working in high-pressure environments.
- Open to travel (domestic & international).
What We're Looking For
- CA, CFA, CPA, MBA or Master’s in Finance.
- 1-2 years (Staff level) and 3-6 years (Senior level) of work experience in Finance domain.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Exposure to tools like ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, BlueWorks, Celonis, Alteryx, etc.
- Project management and stakeholder management capabilities; consulting experience a plus.
- Proficient communication in English; ability to articulate to diverse audiences.
- IFRS knowledge and ability to interpret standards; ability to work collaboratively across levels.
- Willingness to travel; team player; adaptable in ambiguous situations.
