About the Role Senior Front End Developer with full stack capability within Marex's Clearing Technology, driving an AI-first approach to secure, responsive web platforms. You will collaborate across business divisions to deliver high-quality software that meets strict financial controls, auditability, and SOX requirements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain secure, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript, with a focus on accessibility and performance.
• Collaborate with server-side teams (C# .NET or Node.js) to deliver robust full-stack solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and increase productivity, while maintaining traceability, auditability, and control.
• Ensure testing, traceability, and deterministic system behavior; follow modern CI/CD and DevOps practices; operate within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and financial controls; support risk and regulatory requirements.
• Work across Marex's global Clearing Technology teams to deliver governed applications.
• Produce clean, well-documented code and maintain governance through development lifecycles.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience building responsive, accessible web applications with modern front-end tooling.
• Working experience with at least one server-side technology (C# .NET preferred, or Node.js).
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and quality, with a focus on responsible AI usage, traceability and control.
• Experience with NoSQL or RDMS databases.
• Modern CI/CD and DevOps practices; Cloud technology, ideally AWS.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD; Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Methodical approach to software architecture and design; ability to apply the right design choices for a given project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Deeper back-end experience in C# .NET (Web API, Entity Framework) or Node.js.
• Infrastructure as Code, Terraform or equivalent.
• Understanding of financial products across derivatives, FX, commodities, cash equities or fixed income.
• Knowledge of the post-trade lifecycle (confirmation/affirmation, allocations, settlement, clearing, collateral and margin, lifecycle events, reconciliations, and exceptions management).
• Exposure to embedding AI capabilities into end-user applications (e.g. intelligent workflows, automation, decision support).
• Experience with SOLID and Domain Driven Design.
• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of financial markets.
