About this role
We are looking for an experienced Flutter Developer to join a mobile application modernization project in Almaty.
The role involves rebuilding existing native iOS and Android applications as a cross-platform Flutter solution, improving configuration flexibility, and contributing to the overall quality and maintainability of the product.
Work format
Hybrid, with on-site work at the client's office in Almaty.
What you'll be working on
- Rebuild existing native mobile applications in Flutter
- Migrate functionality from iOS and Android solutions currently developed in Swift and Kotlin
- Replace hardcoded endpoint references with configurable variables
- Design and develop scalable cross-platform mobile functionality
- Integrate REST APIs and work with JSON-based data
- Optimize API communication and application data handling
- Implement and maintain application state management using BLoC and Provider
- Develop, test, release, and support mobile applications throughout their lifecycle
- Contribute to build automation, version control, and CI/CD processes
- Write and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests
- Work with mobile QA and automation tools
- Collaborate within an Agile environment using Scrum and Kanban practices
- Share technical knowledge with the team and support onboarding of new team members
- Contribute to AI-related functionality and initiatives within the project

Strong hands-on experience with Flutter

Solid knowledge of RxDart

Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON

Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and state management

Practical experience with BLoC and Provider

Experience optimizing API requests and handling application data efficiently

Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests in Flutter

Familiarity with Flutter Driver, Appium, or similar mobile QA tools

Experience with CI/CD solutions for Flutter, such as Codemagic and GitHub Actions

Experience with Firebase services, including Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Crashlytics

Good understanding of build automation and version control

Experience working in Scrum and Kanban teams

Practical AI-related skills
