Senior FinancialForce/Certinia Developer

About the Role The Senior FinancialForce/Certinia Developer will lead design and implementation of Salesforce solutions on the Certinia/FinancialForce platform, providing technical guidance, hands-on development, and governance to deliver business outcomes and maximize ROI. This role requires architectural thinking, governance, integrations, and collaboration across multiple development teams, with a mid-day IST shift aligned to EST for global collaboration. What You'll Do

• Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including API development for external users, from project inception to completion.
• Provide consultative guidance on Salesforce and Certinia best practices to drive business outcomes.
• Establish and support instance strategy, technical governance, core data management, and integrations.
• Develop detailed solution architecture artifacts to guide technology review and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and integration teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform hands-on configuration and development on the Salesforce platform when needed.
• Test and troubleshoot Salesforce flows, Apex code, and integrations to ensure platform reliability.
• Document user stories, create to-be process flow diagrams, and support the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Guide cross-functional teams to adopt best practices and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform, including hands-on configuration of flows, validation rules, and security controls.
• Proven ability to test and troubleshoot Salesforce flows and Apex code.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator certification (required).
• Experience with a full SDLC Salesforce implementation, including requirement gathering and solution delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly adapt to new projects, business needs, and technologies.
• Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a collaborative team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio for documentation and process mapping.
• Experience documenting user stories, creating process flow diagrams, and collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Ability to work with integration teams to support requirements and testing. Nice to Have
• Experience supporting Certinia (FinancialForce) applications.
• Expertise in Salesforce CPQ or Services CPQ.
• Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder).
• Familiarity with building APIs for external users.
