Currently, we are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager/Controller to join one of toogeza’s clients.
This is a hands-on role with end-to-end responsibility for key financial processes across multiple legal entities, projects, and jurisdictions. The role covers management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow and payment management, financial controlling, payroll coordination.
The candidate will work closely with senior management, internal/external project managers and stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial information and translating financial data into clear insights and recommendations for decision-making.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, independently managing complex financial matters, identifying potential risks, and continuously improving financial processes in a dynamic and confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze management reporting across multiple entities and projects, including financial performance and variance analysis.

Structure, reconcile, and validate financial data and maintain effective financial controls.

Review transactions and supporting documentation and challenge unusual or insufficiently supported items.

Lead budgeting, forecasting processes and support financial planning for new projects and business initiatives.

Coordinate payment processes, including payment planning, approvals, execution, and payroll validation.

Monitor financial transactions and processes, ensure compliance with internal policies and approval procedures, and identify potential control gaps and financial risks.

Maintain and continuously improve financial controls across key finance processes.

Coordinate financial matters with HR, Legal, Treasury, Accounting, internal and external project managers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Support financial coordination across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.

Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes, reporting, controls.

Maintain finance-related policies, SOPs, approval workflows.
Requirements

Professional Experience & Hard Skills
-
5+ years of relevant experience in financial management, FP&A, financial controlling, or a combination of audit/accounting and in-house finance roles.

High level of professional skepticism and ability to challenge financial information and transactions.

Strong practical experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.

Experience working with multiple legal entities, complex financial structures, or international business operations.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation, and financial modelling.

Practical experience with Power Query and handling large datasets.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial controls.

Ability to independently structure, analyze, and interpret complex financial information.

English: Intermediate (B1) or above, both written and spoken.
