Job title: Senior Financial Data Analyst

About the Role The Financial Data Analyst will execute collection, composition, control and distribution of market and master data for financial instruments across SimCorp clients, ensuring SLA commitments are met. The role also answers client questions, conducts data analyses to resolve incidents, and adheres to data governance and risk frameworks, with a client-focused mindset and deep instrument knowledge.

What You'll Do

• Executes daily service deliverables in collecting, composing, controlling and distributing financial instrument data per client SLA
• Shift coverage may include APAC, EMEA, NA time zones depending on business needs
• Conduct quality checks per runbooks and data governance frameworks; perform initial data analysis for unexpected data behavior
• Resolve data questions, service requests and audit support to ensure customer satisfaction and SLA compliance
• Ensure compliance with operational risk frameworks (SOX, RACE, etc.)
• Support ongoing process improvements, data quality checks and system functionality
• Collaborate with local/regional clients to identify requirements and special data treatment to be delivered
• Promote knowledge sharing across Data Operations teams to avoid silos and maintain SLA
• Monitor and report issues along the data supply chain and trigger resolution processes to sustain service delivery
• Maintain documentation of processes, runbooks and manuals to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years experience with data vendor feeds (Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of traditional and non-traditional financial instruments and markets (including ABS/MBS, indexed bonds, syndicated loans)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or engineering
• Experience solving master and reference data issues via exception handling
• Operational data management and data governance experience
• Process design/engineering and requirements engineering and data modelling experience
• Experience with EDM platforms
• Experience with service request systems or ticketing tools (HP ALM, ServiceNow, etc.)
