About the Role
At Astranis, the Senior Financial Analyst - Production plays a pivotal role in supporting financial planning and analysis for manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with production, supply chain, and accounting to drive cost visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision support for production activities in San Francisco.
What You'll Do
- Provide financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for production budgets and operational metrics.
- Partner with production, manufacturing, and supply chain to drive cost optimization and reporting.
- Prepare management reports, capex analyses, and ad hoc analyses for production initiatives.
- Maintain standard costing, BOMs, and inventory valuation across production lines.
- Collaborate with Accounting for month-end close and audit readiness.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of FP&A, manufacturing finance, or cost accounting experience.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
