A senior leadership role in finance based in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. This position focuses on driving financial strategy and execution within the oil and gas or energy sector, with openness to negotiation on compensation. The role emphasizes hands-on financial analysis, project finance, fundraising, and investor relations, and involves shaping commercial strategies around gas commercialization and LNG pricing.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models, investment appraisals, and robust business cases to support strategic decisions.
- Lead project finance activities, capital raising efforts, and manage investor engagement.
- Provide commercial advisory on gas commercialization, LNG pricing, and contract structuring.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing performance analysis to monitor business health.
- Prepare Board-level financial reports and deliver strategic financial insights to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA, ACA/FCA, ACCA/FCCA, CFA, or related professional qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial analysis, project finance, or corporate finance within the oil & gas or energy sector.
- Proven experience in fundraising, capital raising, and investor relations.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and commercial analysis skills.
- Good understanding of Nigeria’s gas value chain, LNG markets, and regulatory environment.
