Senior Finance Manager, Global Commercial Reporting
The Senior Finance Manager, Global Commercial Reporting leads balance sheet planning, forecasting, consolidation, and actuals reporting for the Global Commercial organization. This role also oversees capital budget consolidation, supports quarterly intangible asset impairment assessments, partners across Finance and Accounting, and leads two finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Global Commercial balance sheet planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across Actuals, Plan, LBE, and LRP cycles.
- Coordinate finance inputs, analyze significant balance sheet movements, prepare variance commentary, and escalate material risks and decisions.
- Review Global DSO, DPO, and WAPT month-end and quarter-end reporting and support monthly management reviews.
- Lead capital budget consolidation across Plan, LBE, and LRP cycles and support Commercial Capital Authorization and RAPID RCE activities.
- Coordinate quarterly intangible asset impairment assessments with Commercial Finance, R&D, and Corporate Accounting.
- Support audits and maintain effective internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Translate complex financial information into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for business and finance leaders.
- Drive process improvements through standardization, automation, stronger data quality, analytics, governance, and controls.
- Coach and develop two finance professionals while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

CPA and/or MBA preferred.

8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or finance experience.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.

Experience with balance sheet planning, forecasting, consolidation, actuals reporting, variance analysis, internal controls, and process improvement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, BPC, BIP, Power BI, or comparable financial systems preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations.

Ability to work independently, coordinate cross-functional priorities, meet deadlines, and escalate significant issues appropriately.

Experience leading and developing employees and implementing practical.

Where We Work

Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
