About the Role

The Senior Finance Analyst provides meaningful financial support to various data and AI teams and coordination within Finance, PMO and other teams. This role is responsible for delivery of performance reporting insights, financial analyses, forecasting, planning and expense allocation activities, and works closely with business and finance partners on value-add analysis, informing strategy discussions with relevant financial implications and timely invoice processing.

What You'll Do

  • Provide meaningful financial support to data and AI teams and coordination within Finance, PMO and other teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly management reporting, forecast/plan materials, and monthly accrual and variance analysis.
  • Utilize tools such as PPM forecasting tool, COUPA and PeopleSoft.
  • Support planning and forecasting activities, including development and implementation of new financial models, methodologies, and frameworks as required.
  • Track Vendor SOWs, timesheets and their financial impact.
  • Deliver strategic insights and solutions to meet program priorities and needs; provide input and feedback on program design to business leaders and recommendations on program execution.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Advocate learning within the business and contribute to creating an integrated function that is scalable, flexible, efficient and effective.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Finance and Accounting or related field.
  • Prior Finance / Management Reporting experience including planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with different levels of the organization (VP and below).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (particularly Excel and Power Point) and Power BI.
  • Superior prioritization and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner with client groups.
  • Demonstrated relationship management and a continuous process improvement mindset.
