Senior Field Service Technician
The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for performing field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing pumps and related mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and providing excellent customer service while working independently in the field.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance on pumps and related mechanical equipment.
- Inspect equipment, identify mechanical issues, and recommend appropriate repairs or corrective actions.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, component replacement, and equipment inspections.
- Install, repair, and maintain pumping systems and associated equipment.
- Maintain service parts inventory and accurately complete service reports and documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and customer safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing service calls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer needs.
- Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Ability to work safely in industrial environments and comply with all customer safety requirements.
- Ability to obtain all required customer site clearances and safety certifications, including MSHA training and any additional site-specific requirements.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and tools as required for the position.
