Job title: Senior Field Service Technician
About the Role The Senior Field Service Technician will initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, chemical feed and storage equipment, conducting routine contractual sampling and survey work, preventive/breakdown maintenance, maintaining parts inventory, completing cost accounting time entry and field data entry, and interfacing with customers. The ideal candidate will be located in the north Richmond, VA area and may work across multiple systems/locations/customers within a primary service area and regional territory.

- Perform field service activities at customer sites, troubleshoot systems, conduct sampling and maintenance, manage parts inventory, and complete data entry
- Travel 20-50% (overnight stays) as needed across division/location
What We're Looking For
- HS diploma or equivalent; preferred industry licenses for water or wastewater
- 2-5 years of mechanical/technical work experience; water/wastewater/chemical handling advantageous
- Mechanically inclined with background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or construction
- Clean driving record; ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Customer service/field service experience; ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to use test instruments and power/hand tools
- Willingness to travel 20-50% and work at customer sites; able to work with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Industry-specific license(s) for water or wastewater (preferred)
- Experience with industrial or commercial process water environments
