Job title: Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE)
About the Role Field Application Engineer (FAE) is responsible for driving design wins by technically supporting customers and sales in Japan. The primary goals are to find new business opportunities (NBOs), support and close the NBOs, identify new product development projects and work with global teams to get products developed in a timely manner, and introduce new products into the Japanese market. FAE also serves as the main technical interface between customers and global teams for product applications and related requirements from customers and regulatory authorities.
What You'll Do
- Work with customers to win the business by providing effective solutions/products to meet the customers' needs/requirements
- Communicate with global team to drive NBO closing and new product development
- Drive and track key NBO/top opportunities with regional sales team's joint efforts
- Coordinate product qualifications for customers through communication with pertinent factory, product marketing team and account sales team
- Conduct product application seminars and training for key customers and distribution channels
- Main responsibility products will be Fuse and IBU products
What We're Looking For
- FAE, Sales engineer, Development engineer with 5+ years of experience in the electronic device market and familiarity with its applications; ideally experience in electronic system design and/or new product/applications development
- Good communication skills in Japanese and English for smooth information exchange with customers and global team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or other electricity-related field, or equivalent experience
