Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the Role Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist at ICON oversees the operation and maintenance of our facilities to support business operations. This role focuses on keeping building systems reliable, safe, and compliant, and partners with internal teams and external contractors to minimize downtime.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Work within maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure reliability of facility systems.
• Escort external contractors ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to business operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards related to facility maintenance and operations.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on preventive maintenance programs and building systems management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards related to facility maintenance and operations.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
