Job Title: Senior Executive Assistant
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and discreet Senior Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative, coordinating, and executive support to the Founder/GCEO. This role is pivotal in managing confidential information, coordinating strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication across the group The ideal candidate will demonstrate high integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare briefs, presentations, meeting packages, and follow-up notes for all internal and external meetings.
- Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and requests; coordinate approvals and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Manage the Founder/GCEO’s communication flow and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Track group-level priorities, strategic initiatives, and major business decisions; flag risks or delays.
- Drive strategic and cross-functional projects on behalf of the Founder/GCEO and follow up with subsidiaries on key deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Founder/GCEO and internal leadership teams, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare strategic summaries, dashboards, and status updates.
- Prepare, analyze, and present MIS dashboards and periodic reports; record and circulate Minutes of Meetings, tracking follow-up actions to closure.
Requirements
Required:
- B.Sc, B.A, B.Ed, or HND in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant with increasing responsibility.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High emotional intelligence, proactive thinking, and strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and ERP/SAP systems.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree.
- Membership in a professional organization.
- Experience working within the Oil & Gas sector.
