Job title: Senior Engineer I, Metrology
About the Role As a Senior Engineer I, Metrology at ASM, you will play a critical role in supporting advanced semiconductor materials and process development. Working within ASM’s R&D lab environment in Korea, you will operate and optimize high-end metrology tools such as TEM and FIB to generate high-quality characterization data.
What You'll Do
- Operate and optimize advanced metrology tools (TEM, FIB) to generate high-quality characterization data.
- Collaborate with process development engineers to enable data-driven decisions.
- Develop advanced metrology applications and recipes for next-generation ALD and Epitaxy technologies.
- Contribute to advancement of next-generation ALD and Epitaxy technologies.
- Ensure reliable tool operation and efficient lab performance.
- Support continuous improvement in metrology capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating high-end metrology tools (TEM, FIB) and generating high-quality characterization data.
- Ability to collaborate with process development engineers to enable data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with ALD and Epitaxy technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and lab operations skills.
- Based in Korea or willing to work in ASM's Korea R&D environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ALD and epitaxy technologies (preferred).
- Prior experience in semiconductor materials and process development (preferred).
