As part of our involvement in the Kingdom's landmark Landbridge Program, we are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Highways to contribute to the design and delivery of major railway and transportation infrastructure projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale rail developments, supporting the integration of highways, access roads, transportation corridors, and intermodal connections that are critical to the success of the Kingdom's transportation network.

Key Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineer – Highways, you will:

• Develop highway engineering designs and technical deliverables for rail and transportation infrastructure projects.

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.

• Support project delivery from concept development through detailed design stages.

• Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams, including rail, civil, structures, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, environmental, and project management disciplines.

• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, client specifications, and applicable international and local standards.

• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering initiatives.

• Identify technical risks and challenges while developing practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and design partners throughout project execution.

• Support quality assurance and quality control processes across all project phases.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and engineering best practices.

Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.

• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Highway Engineering Design.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on Rail Infrastructure Projects.

• Proven experience delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects.

• Experience within international engineering consultancy environments is highly desirable.

Have proven experience in the design of:

• Highways and Roads

• Rail Access Roads

• Transportation Corridors

• Interchanges and Junctions
