Senior Engineer

About the Role The Senior Engineer will apply engineering and scientific knowledge to complete assigned projects in the AEC discipline with minimal supervision. This role requires broad technical understanding and the ability to integrate financial data with technical execution to meet business needs. What You'll Do

• Independently plan and conduct small- to medium-size projects within engineering specialty requiring conventional plans, investigations and/or equipment.
• Manage multiple, often concurrent projects and meet deadlines; ensure project objectives align with cost, scope and schedule.
• Maintain project controls and reporting; develop execution strategy including procurement and oversee design work of internal and external consultants.
• Create/modify designs for intermediate problems; balance system costs with benefits; integrate financial with technical data.
• Analyze complex interdisciplinary problems, identify impact, establish probabilities, and draw conclusions reflecting broad business needs.
• Represent engineering on corporate task forces; understand customer needs and propose solutions; adjust products/services as needed.
• Monitor development of other engineers; may supervise engineers or technicians.
• Use project management tools (FEP, Cash Flow Projections, Scope/Schedule Control) to manage small projects and contribute to best practices.
• Direct and manage project execution by performing work per the project plan to achieve objectives. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience; 5+ years of significant engineering/operational experience; post-graduate degree preferred.
• Demonstrated competency within a discipline; strong technical knowledge; ability to handle problems of complex scope with multiple factors.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with diverse groups and negotiate effectively.
• Technical background in laboratory life science, health care, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or related industries (preferred).
• Experience with financial systems and fiscal control. Nice to Have
